Every
day excursions:
Tor Caldara
The
wonderful Tor Caldara Natural Reserve at Lavinio beach.
Lavinio territory has a very
distant and fabolous origin which loses in mythology (Enea’s
voyage). It has been enriched by some patrician villas going
back to Roman Empire time.
Nowadays, Lavinio is a seaside resort, plain and
elegant.
It is well situated with archaeological sites,
artistic places and a long golden beach.
It is shaded by a pinewood and it is the most verdant
coast up to Circeo.
Daily excursions can be carry out to nearby Tor
Caldara Natural Reserve, to Nerone’s villa of Anzio, to
Circeo National Park.Every day a liner leaves Anzio (Porto Innocenziano)
and reaches the Pontine Isles: Ponza, Ventotene and Palmarola.
